Say what? Argos Ticket Sales Currently at 15K

I said weeks ago and still believe they will sell out the two Hamilton games and come close for the Sask game and maybe one other. Will average around 22,000 which would be a fantastic start for a franchise that was in horrendous shape a year ago.

I agree. Those upper end seats on the East side are going to be a hard sell IMO. I was thinking if they could average 24,000 it would be great. That would be in the ball park numbers for of the other teams except Edmonton and Saskatchewan.

I would think the lower east would be the tougher sell due to the sun. Upper East are actually pretty good seats; a bit farther from the field, but great sightlines and the sun had no effect until the middle of the fourth.

there is only one afternoon game during the summer, most are night games. Your only going to get sun for hour or so.

It's not a big deal to me; I enjoy my seats (second deck) and I plan on sticking with the East stands next season, but I hope to move closer to the 55 yard line (206 or 207).

Not really, because you're making a guess just like everyone else. Do you have a confirmed number of freebies ? or flex packs, etc ? I highly doubt it, so once again it's a best guess type of thing.

Yes, really. What do you not comprehend? Of course it's an estimate! I provided some realistic figures to back it up, not "phones ringing" like others, LOL. My count is very similar to yours, so why the challenging? Even if you discount the unknown quantities, subtract the confirmed 2500 donation and tickets available, the number is still around 9 000. I sat in the upper East side with a ST freebie and it seemed like everyone there was on a free ride. That Grandstand has very few ST. It's probably between 7 and your 10k number, but due to the displays presented, I'm leaning closer to 7k.

And RibFest is on during the entire CNE this year at the bandshell. That's even better than a tailgate IMO.

Can you even drink there? The last time I was at the CNE the Beer Garden was the only place that you were allowed to drink and it was a Tent near the Midway. The ribfests that I've been to don't allow you to walk around and drink.

A third one just outside the Enercare Building. I believe they're all sponsored by Molson. However, for people like me and 1argoholic, there is a craft beer area inside the Enercare Building.

$4 for a beer at a sporting event is a good price. The last time you saw that kind of price in KC was probably 1998.
