Hmm i better buy my flex pack.
I want to make sure i get in the season opener.
Hey everybody! Check out my YouTube page at MARCWAGZ ON YOUTUBE for some Mediocre Martial Arts and Music Videos.
I just came across this posting also today in the cfl site:
"Today's count
Looks like
389 end zone seats left
1280 to sell out the one side of the stadium
2907 to sell out the other side.
Looks like Argos will sell out what ever that total number represents.
The Argo rep told me they were not restricting the number of season seats. His name and Argo phone is on a previous post on this thread".
24 000 season tickets sold? Nice dream. I wish it were true. No matter what you write Tom, you will always be the silly man who claimed 15 000 seats sold back on February 5th. I applaud your enthusiasm and optimism, but there will be no "I told you so" forthcoming vindication.
Dunno where they got those Numbers, if they are taking them from. The count of remaining seats for the home opener then the remaining number might not be a good or accurate representation for season ticket holders
Argos Season Ticket Holder: 2010 - 2014 & 2016 - Present
Grey Cups Attended: 2012, 2016
Current Seats Location: Section 227
The strange thing about the numbers is that I had been checking the virtual venue weekly, since you posted about the 15k at the beginning of Feb.
Between Feb 7th and April 25th there seemed to be an average of 100 seats per week that appeared to be not available, or 100 sold per week.
The seat availability went down by around 2k by April 25th. I don't know what happened between April 25th and the 3rd of May because they went from almost 13,000 available down to 5,000 available.
Did they sell 8,000 in that one week? why?
That is one reason why that "Virtual Venue" is useless in determining how many tickets have been sold, I just can't see why they would all of a sudden sell 8,000 seats in one week especially that week
That time would have corresponded with when they started making 3-game flex packs available. They would have had to pull these out of circulation from the season ticket pool - my guess is that this is what the 8,000 reduction in seats available on the virtual venue would have represented, or at least most of that number.
The answer to the teams ST count is the most anticipated for many years, more so dare I say than the health status of RR?
I think it's a safe bet the Argos have at least 10,000 ST sold, but beyond that = ????
It's us vs the rest of the country
Wrong again.
I had my rep told me over and over the amount.
Meanwhile again you are generalizing "everyone else asked their ticket reps", how do you know that?
Even if I partially agree with your premise, the team having heard what was told me as this was after blogged by a reporter no doubt put the gag order on the ticket staff.
