After going 33/49 and 3 TDs with a QB efficiency rating of 162.1 along with 4 rushing TDs on 83 yards on the ground as a backup, Rourke's HC, Frank Solich of the Ohio University Bobcats, decided to name him the #1 QB.
In his first game as starting QB last week, Rourke went 19/31 for 197 yards and 2 TDs that he threw in overtime to win the game 27-20 against Eastern Michigan. He was then named "Star of the Week" by the Manning award, which is named after the Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning QB family.
Sure sounds like a determined "winner" to me who has had to fight every inch of the way as described for four years in post #6 to be recognized for his talent.
