New all time low 11,654?

Tickets are selling much better for Saturday's game.
I was guessing 14,500 when looking at the crowd tonight. I'll say 18,700 for Saturday
Figure is incorrect in the subject line. Should be 14,225.....forgot to add the Squirrel...lol
They're playing the Riders so question is...... are Rider fans Argo fans for 8/9 games or is there an actual spike in attendance?
Argos Season Ticket Holder 2016-2021.
The side question I guess will there be more Riders fans?
tonight was my 1st game of the season, nice to finally take in a game. looked pretty good for 15 thou. a few things, i thought i read here that the west side sells better as it didnt seem that way today. The stadium is pretty loud too. saw 1 tfc guy walking around like a fish out of water. don't worry buddy, nobody is going to steal the stadium.
Don't know, but I'll be there cheering them on as usual. Tough to take, but I'd still rather watch a bad Argos team than no Argos team.
It's us vs the rest of the country
I've noticed a slight decline in the Rider away crowd in the past few years relating to their on-field struggles, however, with the Riders showing some promise late in the season there may be some incentive for them to show up.
TORONTO ARGONAUTS FOOTBALL CLUB
GREY CUP CHAMPIONS: 1914, 1921, 1933, 1937, 1938, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1950, 1952, 1983, 1991, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2012, 2017, 2022
The Argos game is going up against the Jays playoff game, I'm guessing under 12,000 in the stands, possibly less.
IMO BJ fans are not Argo fans. Argo fans can also be BJ fans. Rider fans can also be BJ fans. The Argo and Rider fans will still choose last game of year over 1 game of a 7 game series. Attendance 15000.
GO ARGOS!!!
Speaking of Michael Copeland he has been very quiet as far as know about the latest, shall we say, turn of events. Does he hire and fire the GM on his own or does he consult with the owners? Its not like he doesn't know anything about Football having spent all those years in the CFL front office. Was it his decision to extend JB and SM the three years, or was he encouraged by the Owners? Do you think anyone at their level ever asked JB for an explanation of why he signed all the free agents and then started dumping them one after another? Did they question JB and SM's sanity after the big trade? Did the budget JB thought he had at the start of the year get lowered after the projected attendance didn't pan out?
All you insiders feel free to answer. I'm not a very cool cat, but I'm a curious one.
Last thing Chris Rudge did was extend both SM and Barkers contracts.
I think budget isn't a concern with 2016 Grey Cup money flowing in.
