Tickets in Section 209 now range from $129 - $399 each on the Ticketmaster Website. We paid $299 + fees each for our tickets.

call the argos, there are lots of great seats in those price ranges.
Saw people on twitter saying they voiding their current $299 seats and buying the $229 ones.

Weird because we're in Section 209 too so either I got the wrong Email or you did.

Well I just called them (got right through) and they said that my tickets didn't change in price (even though the Email that they sent me says that they did) I forwarded them the Email so they're going to look into why I was sent that Email and get back to me.

They also said that they're calling the people who had price changes first so that's why I hadn't heard from them yet.

Okay they called me back and said that I was sent the wrong Email and our tickets (209 Row 8) are now $399 not the $299 that we originally paid. So right now we can upgrade to 208 Row 11 or stay where we are and wait until next week and then move into lower priced seats based on availability.

I also asked him about our playoff tickets that were included in our Season Tickets and he said that they will be refunded if we don't make the playoffs.

There was no mention of that happening.

i was in 210, row 8...called today and took the upgrade to 208, row 8...

Frankly for 1/2 the money I would have bought seats and sat in the upper corners if I had been given that option - the point is we weren't given that option.....and as a STH who was told that one of the main perks (what other perks were there really? a discount coupon?) of getting ST was the right to buy GC tickets early, I guess that meant we can spend the most $$ before everyone else and then we will cut prices and leave you hanging later....wow Thanks Argos! can I have a $50 credit to sign up for this awesome treatment again!

The cut off point in most sections in the upper decks were either row 8 or 10 IIRC.

That's my understanding too. May not be as high as 50% as he wanted earlier. But that could explain why the prices are so high.

If he's getting a cut, it has to come from somewhere.

One of the few season ticket holder benefits was marketed as "first right to purchase tickets to the 104th Grey Cup...". It's right on their website. I believe, we should still get this benefit/right after this pricing change and get a refund on the price difference on tickets purchased under their old disastrous pricing model. I will be mentioning the lack of this benefit to my rep tomorrow. Frankly, it will be their choice, rip me off at the Grey Cup and take the small profit or lose me for the long run and lose out on a extended larger profit.

Keep on supporting this type of behaviour from lying Copeland and Sarah clueless Moore as you guys showed your full support to the brutal regime of braley. Most of you guys on this site and all the incompetent people that have been employed with the Argos have contributed in killing the cfl and Argos in Toronto!

No, most of the guys on this site have kept their passion for the Argonauts for many years, supporting them through good and the bad. Some of the posters I have known for over 20 years. In a market that can be extremely challenging, I applaud all Argonauts fans for their support and sharing some great memories.
