Potential huge loss for the Als today as Austin Mack has signed a contract with the Atlanta Falcons.
I haven't been able to find any other details such as signing bonus or anything like that, so there is a possibility he doesn't even make it to training camp, but I think there is a chance he sticks around. Still only 26 years old and absolutely kicked butt in his first CFL season.

Yeah tough loss if he sticks (and he easily could - IMO - if there's one position group where top CFL players could easily help some NFL teams it's receiver) - Mack was outstanding for the Als. But they still have those other 2 young American receivers (Speiker & Snead) who were solid, plus Philpot really emerged and J-Grant missed a good part of last season with injury = those 4 could still form a good corps and maybe they find another Mack (or could maybe draft local Laval product Kevin Mital)

The Als take another Laval OL Nathaniel Dumoulin-Duguay with the 8th overall pick.

With so much talent in Quebec universities and the need to attract French-Canadian fans in Montreal, the Als pick another Quebecois player LB Geoffrey Cantin-Arku from Memphis, a 2023 All ACC Honourable Mention.
