Clearly you don't understand what they're trying to do or why it's important to give to foundations, kids and etc.

Of course I know that!! Wow no SOH? why do you think I put a big smiley??

Not too many seats left for the home opener, I only counted around 200 available on the East Side and a few thousand on the West side. Looks like around 24k sold so far with 3 weeks to go, the Home Opener should be sold out

That's an interesting distribution of remaining seats!
I would expect the west side to sell out before the east side.
The upper seats in the east side are well back from the field and offer the poorest view of any in the stadium imo.
Plus, the season opener is on a Thursday night. The setting sun will be in the eyes of those on the east side.

(All still better than Rogers Centre though!)

Jayahre made a mistake. It's the other way around - West is almost sold out and the east side has quite a few left.

My guess would be plenty of Hamilton fans have not bought tickets yet. Another guess is more Toronto residents will buy tickets the week prior to the game.

Tuned unto Hogan the other night hoping there would be something about the Argos. Instead it was the NBA even with the Raptors out. The CFL out draws the NBA on TV but the powers that be at TSN still seem to feel the public wants to here about NBA. They are part of "The Big Four".

To be fair, they are broadcasting both the NHL and NBA finals. Hogie is on for an abbreviated show, and his job is to queue up the live game broadcast. It's basically a pre-game show.

Only 20% content effort for the preseason game; the team will amp it up for the home opener. Music to my ears, and from my understanding the home opener has significantly more seats sold than the preseason game did.

On a side note - I'm happy to see Chris O'Leary represent/write about the Argonauts over at 3 Down Nation. Lowell Ullrich is there as well writing the Lions content.

The upper east side at BMO (and THF for that matter) seems to be very tough to sell tickets to. I just noticed that more tickets have opened up / been added to the ticketmaster matrix for the home opener at BMO . I wonder if maybe they are over priced up there , I know at THF there are always discounts for tickets up high on the east side.
The Argos may have to think about doing the same sort of thing till they get their fan base built back up . It will be a shame if the home opener at BMO does not sell out .
