    The CFL and NFL are the only two major professional leagues in North America that aren't operating franchises currently. MLB has been operating the Dodgers after they went bankrupt, the NHL has been operating the Coyotes forever, and the NBA has been operating their New Orleans franchise. The CFL has received a lot of flak over the years when they have been forced to do the same but there seems to be much less criticism from the Canadian media of some of these other leagues having to do likewise.

    BTW, I may have the wrong guy but wasn't the professor quoted in that article a huge Argo fan back in the 1990s? I thought that he went by Vijay the Argoholic or is that someone else?

    Knowing him personally and meeting him at Argo training camp at Guelph in 1995, he is the same guy.

    I didn't get one either though my rep mentioned in the e-mail he sent that he was very busy with Grey Cup tickets and would not be able to reply to every RSVP.
