    Same teams as every year make up the best of the best. That's the unfortunate thing about Usport football. There is a lack of parity. AUS really needs to merge with Quebec. Ridiculous that they get an automatic bid into the national semis when they haven't been competitive in years.

    Yeah - the AUS being weak and getting into the national semis is not good / does not seem fair.

    A lot of stuff in sports can be like that though. i find it a bit of a joke that the CFL 1st place finisher in each division only has to play one play-off game to get to the GC. SO - make 8 teams qualify for the play-offs, and team has to win both a division semi and the final to get to the GC game. And tough $hite if some are going to moan about 8 teams making the play-offs - a more competitive play-off and earning your way to the National Championship makes up for that IMO, and fans get the bonus of 2 extra play-off games. A CIS team can NOT win just one play-off game and get to go to the National final. Just like it can't happen in the NFL either.
