Teams are already closing practices to the public and media. IIRC the league just passed a new rule that at least one practice per week must be open to the public and media. They used to usually all be open to everyone. As I stated before - teams/coaches are too paranoid nowadays or they just don't want to deal with the fans and media as much as they used to.

At TC, the Argos are high on Cory Watman and he likes what he sees in his fellow offensive linesmen.
http://www.torontosun.com/2016/05/30...high-on-watmanTough, smart, always eager to put in the time to work on his trade, there’s a lot to like about Corey Watman and what he’ll bring to the Argos this season.
As a Canadian starting offensive lineman, Watman is the kind of player every team in the CFL covets, not only based on his citizenship but also on his skills.
Having grown up in Queensville, Ont., Watman always relished the ideal of playing close to home.
When he became a free agent this offseason, the Argos called and both sides would come to an agreement.
Watman is versatile having the skill-set to line up at centre or at guard, but the Argos are comfortable with Watman at centre.
With rookie Sean McEwen, whom the Argos picked in the first round of last year’s draft, also a centre, there’s good competition at camp and the potential to play McEwen at centre and slide Watman over to guard if the situation and circumstances change.
For now, though, Watman is the man and he’s more than willing and capable to secure the starting slot at centre.
With the likes Josh Bourke, another big free-agent signing by the team, established starters Tyler Holmes, Greg Van Roten and Chris Van Zeyl, Watman likes what he sees.
Raymond, despite being a newcomer, has quickly become a leader at TC.

Raymond wanted a change of scenery and his relationship with Rich Stubler made the decision rather routine when free agency arrived and the Argos expressed interest.
“All I asked when I had my first conversation with coach Milanovich was whether I could wear No. 2,’’ recalled Raymond.
With veteran Chad Owens having signed with Hamilton, the jersey number was available for anyone who asked for it.
For Raymond, it was the number he wore at East Tennessee State. And it’s the number Deion Sanders wore at Florida State, and Charles Woodson donned at Michigan.
“Those were the guys I looked up to,’’ said Raymond. “Those guys were the best and I wanted to be the best.”
Sanders and Woodson are among the all-time greats, athletic, explosive, smart with playmaking abilities.
The qualities can easily apply to Raymond, who was brought to the CFL by Jim Barker. ...
As one of the few players who has been around Stubler, Raymond has quickly become a leader on defence.Argos head coach Scott Milanovich has been a huge fan of Raymond, forced to come up with an offensive attack that minimizes Raymond’s impact on games. ...
“I always thought he was one of the top SAMs in the league,’’ said Milanovich of Raymond. “I think he’s a lot like B.I. (Brandon Isaac), a veteran who is always in the right spot, around the ball, makes big plays when you need them. Last year we were so young in the secondary with B.I. being the only veteran, at least now the guys have one year (under their belt), B.I. and now him (Raymond).
The Argos have been hoping to get Bourke for years.
http://www.torontosun.com/2016/05/29...worth-the-waitBourke was a player the franchise had coveted for years, someone Toronto felt it had a chance to secure when it seemed Bourke’s time in Montreal had expired in 2013. Even when the veteran left tackle and the Als then came to terms on a new two-year deal, Toronto still held out hope that one day Bourke would return to his native Ontario and suit up for the Argos.
The Argos finally got their man in free agency this off-season, Bourke making his Argos debut Sunday as the team’s full camp officially kicked off.
“I’ve always been a fan of Josh: Intense, physical, no nonsense and he’s going to bring an attitude to our offensive line,’’ said head coach Scott Milanovich. “I’m looking forward to having him.
“A couple of years ago, we were hoping he’d go to free agency, but he didn’t, stayed in Montreal and we finally got him. He’ll be a plus on offence, no question.”
Left tackle, according to many in the game, is the second most important position on the field next to quarterback. When a team has a quality left tackle, it does all it can to make sure he stays and is compensated. But times change, teams go in a different direction and players, ultimately, are always looking to reboot their career.
The Bourke-Argos marriage seems perfect, a legitimate starter protecting the blindside of a future Hall of Fame quarterback in Ricky Ray.

MONEY TALKS
As it expected, it was the bottom line that forced the Argos to vacate York for Guelph under a one-year arrangement.
The bottom line was money and when York, it’s believed, wanted to squeeze more juice out of the Argos, the franchise looked at options and decided to hold camp at Guelph, where the franchise hasn’t set up shop since the days of Rocket Ismail.
It’s not known how much money York was seeking or if much of a gap existed between the two parties, but going to Guelph keeps the Argos well outside the GTA at a time when the club is trying to sell itself as the move to BMO Field kicks off soon with a pre-season game followed by the season opener on June 23.
As veterans begin to filter into town for Saturday’s physicals ahead of the opening of camp on Sunday, a few could be heard complaining of the long drive to Guelph.
Nothing is going to change for this camp, but some kind of resolution must be found for next season, perhaps permanently.
There are always issues and obstacles to overcome, which have come to characterize this franchise far too long.
