RedBlacks trade for the rights to Dru Brown; i guess they think he can be the starter; just hope they have real TC competition.
They also signed recent BC cut - receiver Dominque Ryhmes (formerly with Ottawa and pretty good when he's at his best, which is not always); plus re-signed vet receiver B. Addison.
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
Dru Brown signs with Ottawa, will he be another Nick Arbuckle, James Franklin or build on the promise he showed in Winnipeg?
He definitely will be the starting QB this season.

I'm interested to see what's going to happen with some of Ottawas backups from last season. Crum, Adams, and Pigrome have all shown flashes of talent. Yet 2 of the 3 will likely be elsewhere in 2024. I wonder if the Bombers would try to get Pigrome back.
I imagine that is dependent on where Streveler ends up.
TORONTO ARGONAUTS FOOTBALL CLUB
GREY CUP CHAMPIONS: 1914, 1921, 1933, 1937, 1938, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1950, 1952, 1983, 1991, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2012, 2017, 2022
IMO there is virtually no chance two of those guys will be elsewhere before September at the earliest. Pigrome, sure, but I don't see Ott letting Crum or Adams go any time soon. Adams will likely start the year on the six-game, alongside Masoli. Once (if) both of those guys get healthy, then and only then will they have to consider cutting somebody loose. I doubt Crum goes anywhere in 2024; Adams, maybe, but not until mid-season at the earliest.

As per 3 Down Nation the Ottawa Red Blacks have signed former Grey Cup Champion and Argonaut OG Darius Bladek. In a corresponding move the Ottawa Red Blacks released OG Jacoby Ruby, who was due a $20,000.00 roster bonus.
Swapping Ruby for Bladek is interesting; maybe mostly to save the 20K bonus due to Ruby ? - which is kinda cheap, but not surprising with $M$ concerns. Maybe they feel Bladek will be a decent upgrade. Ruby was named their top O-Lineman last season = ???
I think Dru Brown could do well - if they are hitching their wagons to him as a bonafide starter of some kinda saviour; could also see him being another Arbuckle - who showed more in the CFL compared to Brown's small sample size. LOL at some RedBlacks fans on post game radio call-in who thought Arbuckle was this new star / QB saviour there after he won a game for them.
Crum or maybe even Masoli to turn to if Brown struggles, is not too shabby though IMO for QB depth. That's IF Masoli is healthy enough to play anywhere near his previous CFL best form. Would be the best QB depth chart in the league, perhaps.
With their first round draft pick Ottawa picks WR Nick Mardner from Auburn.
The Redblacks pick the most talented immediately available DL in Daniel Okopo from San Diego State with the 11th overall pick.
