Arbuckle has really improved. He seems to play a much smarter and doesn’t give the ball away. Perhaps not having LaPo call plays, helps.

MTL and OTT. One of the best games all year IMO. Ottawa just didn't get the bounces this year.

Yep, just nine points over the final 44 minutes isn't going to get the job done. They had good field position too for much of the time.

One of the few bright spots for Ottawa in 2022 has been Lorenzo Mauldin who led the league in sacks with 17, setting an Ottawa record in the process, and was chosen as the East's nominee for Outstanding Defensive Player. He also played with a lot of grit while injured in Ottawa's last game.

I'd love to see him be given a chance; more likely another LaPo like same old GOB though - Khari Jones ? or who does the ex-Ticat guy as GM in Ottawa now, have on his speed dial for former Ticat deep thinkers ?

    Henry Burris as HC.
You need to bring back some excitement to Ottawa, not to mention a full year with Masoli as the leader.

Henry Burris has an ultra limited football coaching resume; I'd say give him a shot ... after he has coached about 5 to 10 more years in football and preferably in Canadian football and with one or more winning teams.

Below is a look at some of the possible new Ottawa HC interviewees. Burris is not on the list. Personally I'd prefer Mark Kilam or Bob Dyce.

Some of the names on Ottawa’s Talk-To list: Redblacks interim head coach/special teams co-ordinator Bob Dyce, Calgary Stampeders assistant head coach/special teams co-ordinator Mark Kilam, QB coach Marc Mueller and defensive co-ordinator Brent Monson, Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive co-ordinator Mark Washington and former Montreal Alouettes head coach Khari Jones. Not on the list: Former Redblacks offensive co-ordinator Jason Maas (a former head coach in Edmonton and the offensive co-ordinator in Saskatchewan the past two seasons) and former Redblacks quarterback Henry Burris (offensive quality control coach with the Jacksonville Jaguars).

Farhan Lalji has indicated via Twitter that Argos DC Cory Mace has made the Red Blacks HC short list along with Hamilton DC Mark Washington and Ottawa interim HC Bob Dyce.

It is possible that Kilam isn't interested in the Redblacks. I saw something on Twitter that suggested that he wasn't interested in Ottawa when the HC position opened up last time.

Perhaps he himself doesn't want to move out east or doesn't want to move his family out east.

It was portrayed on Twitter as Kilam not having confidence in the football operations in Ottawa but who the hell really knows?

The Red Blacks have removed the Interim tag from Bob Dyce and introduced him as the 3rd HC in the teams long and storied history.

TSN reports that former Montreal HC Khari Jones who last served as an “Offensive Consultant” with Hamilton will join HC Bob Dyce as OC for the Ottawa CFL franchise.
