    XFL/USFL Talent Heading North

Since the UFL held its “Super Draft” Monday, players who went unselected are coming north. In the last 2 days Montreal and Winnipeg have added QBs who played in the USFL last season. No doubt that more players will be following.

Do we know how much money UFL players stand to earn for their 10-game season?
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

About $52,000.00 across the board and some bonuses, which is pretty much the same as the 2 leagues paid last year. However, a number of QBs in the XFL last year made 6 figures (Including Paxton Lynch) but that is no more. That is why DC QB Jordan Ta’Mu remains a FA.

Also, in another cost saving move, the coaching staff have taken huge pay-cuts as well which has resulted in the OC for Arlington taking a an Atlhletic Director job at a High School. Position Coaches now are viewed as part time employees. Not sure how long coaches will want to remain a part of that.

Young DE Ali Fayad who played 4 games for the Argos in 2022 and looked promising has returned to the CFL, signing with Winnipeg. He has since spent time in the now defunct USFL.
