Ottawa went nuts in free agency and got a bunch of good players; they had to do something/LOTS
We shall see how it pans out with LaPo as HC.

Ottawa has definitely improved on paper.
Chemistry is, of course, important but the Argos were able to put a lot of new faces together to finish 9-5 in 2021.

Ottawa does its safe traditional thing in drafting an OL Zack Pelehos as their first pick. Overall it hasn't worked out that well for them recently.
Second round pick Centre Cyrill Hogan-Saindon has only one year of playing experience at college, so he has a lot to learn but also has a lot of potential.
Here's how Ottawa sees its three Global draft picks: OL Hector Zepeda DB Edris Jean-Alphonse and K Gabriel Ballinas.

Canadian WR Tevaun Smith, who had 956 yards from 82 catches with the Elks over two years, has signed with Ottawa. Born in Toronto he played previously at Iowa. A good pick up for the Redblacks.
Only a last minute field goal allowed the Bombers to defeat Ottawa as the team showed vast improvement over last year, especially at QB where Masoli was 24/34 for 380 yards.
