In the search to replace the quack less Duck, the Riders have signed American QB Tyrie Adams, who is the all-time leading passer at West Carolina and then played in the Indoor Football League.

Ottawa does its safe traditional thing in drafting an OL Zack Pelehos as their first pick. Overall it hasn't worked out that well for them recently.

Second round pick Centre Cyrill Hogan-Saindon has only one year of playing experience at college, so he has a lot to learn but also has a lot of potential.

2021 first round Redblack pick Deshawn Stevens, whose University of Maine uniform looks very much like an Argo uniform, has signed with Ottawa.

Canadian WR Tevaun Smith, who had 956 yards from 82 catches with the Elks over two years, has signed with Ottawa. Born in Toronto he played previously at Iowa. A good pick up for the Redblacks.

Only a last minute field goal allowed the Bombers to defeat Ottawa as the team showed vast improvement over last year, especially at QB where Masoli was 24/34 for 380 yards.

Redblacks are getting better but they have so much they need to improve on from last year. Their frustrating losses remind of the first year Redblacks who couldn't get many wins although they came close.
