While I agree that Durant deserves to be backup to Nichols, I'm not sure what you mean by the bare minimum for a back-up QB, but if it is what the Bombers paid Dan LeFevour, then I would have to disagree as Durant, despite his very poor performance last year, has shown himself to be much better than that in the past.
