Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
It was a gamble. I honestly believe the Bombers only acquired him as insurance and didn’t expect to really count on him in 2019. Then Streveler gets dinged, he goes in and the rest is history. IMO, he would have been back in Toronto if Streveler never got dinged. O’Shea is as loyal as it gets and he wasn’t going to replace Streveler.

Glad Zac is staying with the Bombers. Looks better for league when players stay with same team,
I hope we don't lose a bomber game next year to touch down Atlantic. Bombers are really the Marquee fan base right now. The visitor section was completely full this year for the bomber game , and that was on a Tuesday game after a long weekend. Would be nice if we could get fan friendly home games for both Bombers and Riders next year. There is a ton of Bomber fans likely to go to BMO that are in Toronto...especially if they three peat.

Agreed. I too am happy when good players re-sign with their current teams, stability is very important and the league has lacked that over the last few years. As for TD Atlantic. The opponent should be someone that traditionally isn’t much of a draw. BC and Calgary are the correct choices here. You don’t want to lose a home game against a divisional opponent for sure.

I’m still not convinced we would have seen Collaros get his chance if Streveler doesn’t go down. O’Shea May have had the opinion that ZC only goes in in an emergency situation. He too may not have been convinced that ZC should have been on the field given his injury history. May have just been a giant fluke.

Good to see Canadian RB Oliveira break 1,000 yards, continuing the more than a decade long return of first string Canadian RBs, and the Bombers depth at RB in recent years with Harris, Augustine, and even Demski when needed.
Nine yearOL Patrick Neufeld says he almost retired after his first year with the Bombers in 2013 after three years with the Riders because so many of the players "didn't care". He attributes the turnaround to a change in culture and consistency in personnel. No doubt O'Shea had a large part to do with that.

Mike O'Shea has (not surprisingly) re-signed as Winnipeg's head coach for 3 more seasons.

Surprisingly, GM Kyle Walters may be out. President Wade Miller is non-committal about Walter's future.
