    They may have done this to ensure that he would be signed for next year's training camp. Players who are on the PR at the end of the season are automatically free agents.

    Pity about Hall as he certainly had the ability but not perhaps, the attitude. Also, see Jefferson has been added to the active roster and Alford moved to the P.R. and then the same day released. Looks like he refused to go on the P.R. One can get the information from the CFL Transactions but not the Argo website. Pity the Argo website is so non-informative.

    Uh, he was deleted from the active roster and added to the non-active (i.e., practice roster)...that's how they do it. It is a little bit counter intuitive.
