TORONTO ARGONAUTS FOOTBALL CLUB
GREY CUP CHAMPIONS: 1914, 1921, 1933, 1937, 1938, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1950, 1952, 1983, 1991, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2012, 2017, 2022
This should be the game where we he see if giving up Gale was a mistake. I remember Brett Smith went into Argos camp and then ended up playing in Saskatchewan and everyone was going gaga over him. Now look where he ended up?
Some Rider fan called Gale the best backup in the league when excluding Harris. Time will tell.
Argos Season Ticket Holder 2016-2021.
a large section of the rider fan base drinks a LOT of the kool aid.
good luck to Mitchell Gale but how scared should rider fans be that the guy they just traded for, who was barely on the Argos roster, is now their interim starter. I've said in another thread but Barker took Jones to the cleaners' on that trade, Jones was desperate and paid for it.
Ottawa should take this one but crazier things have happened in this league.
Gale looks like he has quite some potential. The Argos had no use for him, though, so the trade made sense.
Go Riders!!!
It's us vs the rest of the country
I like Gale , will always try to get the open man regardless of who it is .... star or not.........

That really would be an accomplishment, considering that in the game last week against Ottawa, they had 2 key injuries at DB and had to start their Kick returner Tristan Jackson at DB, it was expected that Ray would take advantage of it, but he didn't.
This week Ottawa gets Hightower and Gavins both off the injured list and they have picked up ex-Als DB Mitchel White who was in a contract dispute with the Als. Ottawa's "D" just got a lot stronger, unless Gale is a runner he won't be completing too many long passes.
For the record, the depth chart the Riders released on twitter once again only shows 6 starting Nationals, + the FB who we all know will not be on the field that much. I re-tweeted it and included Glen Johnson with mention that I hope his officials are paying attention.
@CFL_News @sskroughriders only 6 Nationals in that starting line up. Hope @G_D_Johnson is making his crew aware of this.

AV - when we were questioning about this subject in another thread - Ravi heard the 7th NI was a receiver and I sort of figured that their 7th starting NI last game was receiver Demski after watching some of the replay of the game
There appears to be a problem when you look at their depth chart and the starters announced on the live TV graphic - but I think they followed the rules by "starting" only 2 import receivers, when 3 are listed as starters.
