boo hoo im tired of people complaining about the media.
I'm tired of caring. let them talk about what they want to talk about.
If they want to drone on about basebore I will just change the channel.
My local news said "the argos are playing host to the alouettes on monday night"
    and so did tsn.
Let's stop pretending nobody talks about them at all.

Put Matt Black at any position on the football field and chances are he’ll figure it out.
The eighth-year Argonaut is expected to start at safety on Monday night against the visiting Montreal Alouettes after Jermaine Gabriel suffered a concussion last week against the Ottawa Redblacks.

    I've reached the same point.
I've grown tired of caring about which sports the media covers (see my post earlier about NBA summer league) and how they "ignore" the Argos.
They don't owe us anything, and we don't owe them our time to watch or listen to their broadcasts.

Sportsnet is MLB Canada. I mostly ignore them, both TV and radio.

Anbody know - what is the status of Bulcke & Waud and Brian Jones; still injured / recovering or just stashed on the IR?

Like to see both Bulcke & Waud in a platoon at one of the DT spots (could be an instant upgrade to a so-so D-line so far)

Also love to Jones on the roster and get a shot at playing time to be a big physical receiver - hopefully sure handed and able to punish small DBs and pint sized cover LBs - after the catch and with blocking.

I've heard Bulcke is close. I would guess at this point, they will let him sit this game and the next so as to not pull him back early from the 6 game. Haven't heard a thing about Waud.

^ What AV said in regards to Bulcke.

As for Brian Jones, did he end up getting the season ending surgery on his wrist ?

Unless someone was at a practice lately and saw him, I don't think anything has been said after Frank Z first brought it up at the end of May.

I recall reading in the Sun that Jones did get that season ending surgery on his wrist so OV and the rest of us won't see him until next year.

I really think our 1st round pick would have been better used to select a O-lineman that is ready to contribute right away. Nothing against Sackey or Campbell, but the line could use help. I hope at least McEwen gets some serious reps soon.

I hope Jones proves me wrong next season.

There are a few perhaps blue chip O-linemen up next draft = not sure why the need to pick 3 "project" fairly unproven O-linemen this past draft??? McEwen pans out for some playing time, and Watman & Wayne Smith would be good depth and zero roster room for any of these guys just drafted. And passing on a chance to select a talent like Jones ( very productive college ball receiving resume, huge receiver size, super athletic tester) would have been disappointing IMO - we shall see if he pans out.

Milanovich is notorious for not giving the rookies a shot right from the get go. Old school style coaching. You need great Canadian talent that you actually play to win in this league. Why do we not see Coombs more?

Oh well we're about to start. Here's hoping.

Great start as per usual at their new home.

Less red seats on the far side then last game.

Well I got money on the Argos tonight so I'm hoping Kevin Glenn coughs up one of his pick sixes.

Wow ... Whitaker looked like Cory Boyd when blocking that blitz

If the Argos had a real rushing threat this Ray passing attack would be stellar

Whitaker took care of his man. Can't expect him to block two guys.

    Great throw by Ray.

Must say, Kenny Shaw is somewhat exceeding expectations.

Slow start but nice drive and catch by Shaw. Sweet block by Coombs on Bear Woods on the pass play to Wylie. More Coombs!!!

At least all of you at the game don't have to listen to Rod the Nummy Black.

Ray just passed Allan in td passes thrown.
