    If Orridge wants to send a message he needs to suspend Jones for a game. Fining the richest team in the league meager amounts of money isn't exactly much of a penalty.

    I mentioned in another thread that Jones has to be VERY close to a suspension.
    I'm not sure how, as coach and general manager, he dodged one over the extra players in practices issue last week, but I guess the league couldn't definitively pin that on him.

    I'm enjoying the dumpster fire that is the RIders this year. Throw the book at them for all I care, rules are rules. Also amusing has been some of their beat writers (cough Pedersen cough) being totally exposed as cheerleaders in this. I follow a few and he's by and far just the worst and imo embarassing himself. must make the more objective (and good) beat reports like Justin Dunk shake their head.

    "Monorail" Jones better have the Riders' trajectory on the upswing by the end of this season or the natives will become rather restless.

    He's got 2016-17 with an old stadium closing and a new stadium opening. So safe until 2018?

    This is logical. Also, the Riders have made such a heavy (and drastic as it turned out) investment in Jones that inertia is in effect.
    The natives could still become terribly restless along the way of course.
