The Riders have three-time All-Star and the East's 2018 nominee for MOP LB Larry Dean, who missed the 2021 Rider season due to injury.
WR Duke Williams has re-signed with the Riders. He returned to the CFL with the Riders in October 2021 from the Buffalo Bills to play four games where he made a major impact, gaining 285 receiving yards. In the two finals that he played in gained another 163 yards.
The Riders are also going to be paying Williams mucho dinero to the tune of $260,000/year.

Saskatchewan has released DL Jonathan Woodard to pursue NFL opportunities.
For all the grief that O'Day is getting from Roughrider fans, the team goes into free agency having signed a fair percentage of their pending FAs (I think 2nd or 3rd in the league).

Jamal Campbell a Rider.
Shame to see a local player who seemed to enjoy being an Argo cast adrift but $200k is a high price for a RT.

It's not necessarily a high price for an all-star RT, but it definitely is for a starter who falls below all-star calibre. He will allegedly get paid about $130k in Sask, which IMO is more in line with his value at this stage of his career. I wonder if Argos offered a similar amount when asking him to renegotiate, or wanted an even steeper cut.
