Darn! I was hoping the Argos could have re aquired Alford to replace Chandler Worthy.

I honestly believe that it's the blocking that has been the problem in Toronto and not the returners.

That was a brutal hit on Masoli by Marino.

How many games does he get?

Marino’s celebration after the hit was equally if not more brutal.

He will likely get 1 and it will be appealed. He is an a-hole, dirty player. He absolutely targeted Masoli's knees on that play. Good on Proulx for ejecting him, now time for the higher ups to make the right call. At the very least, I hope the league had him pee in a bottle after the game. That reaction reeked of "roids rush".

Agree on all counts Angelo, play tough and hard but above all respect your opponent.
The celebrating and showboating on the way off the field shows what a moron this guy is.

There are now 10 Roughriders testing positive, and we are three days away from the game. I can't see how it gets played. Sorting out a postponement will be a mess (again) since we have used up two of our bye weeks and have no byes in common with Sask.

I hope Argos are all being tested, and no positives after whatever exposure they had last Saturday.

A rescheduled game should give “Captain Cody” time to heal and get that “Target” off of his knee.

The way things have gone so far Riders are likely to make the playoffs as the crossover team.

PANIC in Sask. - LOL - after losing to the sad-sack Elks, the reaction amongst a lot of Rider fans is pretty amusing: worst team in the league; high school football; i turned the TV off; Fajardo & Evan Johnson prominent scape-goats; fire the GM; the HC; the OC (ok, that i agree with - Maas is a moron); worst O-line in league history; won't win another game the rest of the season, etc. etc. - so much over the top reaction = brutal.

There are certain types of fans who just take their team losing wayyyyyyyyyy too seriously, IMO; and maybe don't grasp that football is a complex game with so many parts required to work well to have a consistently winning or solid team.

With their last 4 games being in Winnipeg, In Hamilton and home and home with Calgary, I don’t think it’s a stretch to say they may not win another game this year. There is still hope for no crossover.

The post game call in is hilarious. Fajardo also takes way too much blame. People blaming him for sacks. I argued with Kyle Melo last night who believes the standard line that the ball must be gone in3 seconds. Elks rushed 3 all night and had constant pressure up the middle. With 9 in coverage, it often takes more than 3 seconds to find an open receiver. I agree with you on Maas. If I am calling plays against that D, I am throwing hitch screens to Duron Carter’s side until they stop it. Riders have receivers that run well after the catch.

And Hickson, who IMO was the Riders best offensive weapon in the past few games, was under-used by Maas, who in typical CFL offensive "mind" ways, abandons a run game after it is stuffed once or twice. Fajardo has become happy feet panicky and their O-line is very porous, but Maas has to know this and there are adjustments and plays of course to attack that 3 man rush (like those hitch screens; or roll the QB out with run option); but instead Maas runs same old offence with Fajardo sitting in the pocket and the results are often laughable. I would have went after Carter who I suspect would whiff on tackles, as well after he was in the game; ex-Argo draft pick Jamie Harry, who has started at corner for Jones the past few games (and IMO has looked very good) seemed to get pulled after he was burnt for a TD on that Riders' 3rd and two gamble (nice play with a corner expecting run or a short pass, and Harry almost recovered to knock it down anyways) - Jones scapegoating a young starter maybe not the best thing to instill confidence; meanwhile - arrogant clown Marshall at corner for the Riders waves at Cornelius to throw at him and gets burned bad for a long TD - but I guess a vet American is going to be given lots of rope.

Riders really falling fast and looking like a bad team; Fajardo regressing; horrible O-line play; clown cheap-shot Marino a distraction; plus a number of injuries (like all teams have to deal with), but IMO this is a case of a pretty talented team suffering with a dumb, predictable OC and a wimpy HC.
