    Age now starts working against him as he is on the wrong side of 30, I believe. I don't expect Brescacin to be on a CFL roster beyond this season.

    Before departing the game with a Lower Body Injury, Rider QB Mason Fine went 5/9 for 20 yards…2.2 yards per attempt. Haven’t seen QB stats like that since the spring.

    So O'Day wasn't given a new contract after one 6-12 season but gets a 3-year deal after a second consecutive 6-12 season. An odd move by the Riders.

    The Riders take OL Kyle Hergel from Boston College as their first overall draft pick but he signed with the New Orlean Saints for $20,000 guaranteed and may not be available for a while.
