Crazy hot, drought like weather this summer.

I know parts of Toronto have had some big downpours but it's parched huge here. No significant rain in well over a month. My lawn maintenance is pretty much screwed. Lawns are suffering as our my forest trees.
Great weather if you're a condo dweller. Yet with how dry it is I still see assholes tossing cigarette butts out vehicle windows on a daily basis. I didn't know that I moved to Quebec. Tons of smokers here.

On Friday I drove my wife to Pearson and ran through a couple nice downpours while heading there and then back but once again it missed our area.

One good thing is that I have a client in Peterborough who's away for a month so I'm watering their veggies etc. HOLY CRAP do zuc's and cuc's grow fast. From flower to 8" harvestable vegies in two days. Unreal. I've never eaten so many of them. Even for breakfast with my eggs.

I'm going to start doing rain dances every morning.

It seems like whatever thunderstorms roll in from Michigan affect SW Ontario, but miss Toronto altogether. There was that storm from a few weeks ago, but it only affected like Yonge Street and east. Very little rain where I work in Mississauga.

Unfortunately, looks like unsettled weather for Friday night of all dates.

I have zero faith that it's going to rain. This was the type of summer we had on Vancouver Island. Hot and dry every year. At least you knew that fall would bring showers. This is horrible. Lawn maintenance is usually a given. I'm not like these landscapers that continue to cut until dirt is flying.
