According to Sportsnet's Perry Lefko the CFL is looking at presenting sponsorship rights rather than "title" sponsorship rights for the Grey Cup. Don't really know how to feel about this as I'm not a big fan of "Naming Rights" for Championship trophies, as I think the two greatest trophies awarded are the Grey Cup and Stanley Cup. There is a lot of history with those two that other leagues possibly wish that they had, however if done right it could work out I suppose, 7-8 million dollars per year is also a great influx of money for the CFL. With the new tv deal set to come in a couple years plus this deal the CFL could be generating more than 50 million on two sources of income, which don't think anyone would disagree is great for the league. It's a touchy subject that hopefully the league treads carefully with, and finds a way to do it, without taking away from the history, allure, and tradition of our great symbolic Cup.
