Interesting on McEwen at guard - not sure he has much/any experience there; maybe Van Roten is considered way better at C ?

Issac at OLB over Raymond ??? - maybe there is a huge $M$ savings there, but can't see that much ? - the LB corps is iffy, but they might step it up and surprise. Waud could be starting at DT over Robertson IMO, but maybe they play a rotation with all DTs getting fairly equal time?

Noel or Jones to get any playing time at receiver? - i guess not if the "big 3" plus Spencer are good to go - that could be a very good group for Ray to throw to.

McEwan was a guard for the Dinos before switching to C. But in this case I suspect that GvR is at center because Ray has more experience with him.

We need to win this game.

I sure hope so! I may have rose coloured glasses but I don't recall any of these deep bombs being completed over the middle with Gabriel in the game (like I saw last game)

Looks like we may have rain today although hopefully it ends before gametime

I don't expect Gabriel to come back this season. 2 concussions in one season is tough to take. Might be best to shut him down, and that's not even accounting the fact if he has even been medically cleared yet. That may take awhile.

Yeah...Brandon "penalty" Isaac is a bit of a surprise.

I think this could get very ugly for the scullers.
I disagree I smell an upset victory for the scullers. So much so that I have money down on them and taken them in my CFL pick'em. Two things. Some of the points BC has given up on defence has been high and I believe their defence is highly overrated. (Surrendering 37 points to Hamilton, 37 and 44 to Calgary in the last two games, 25 to the previous meeting with the Argos, 27 to the lowly Riders). The other thing is their tendency to let their foot off the gas when they have a big lead...(see Hamiton and Calgary.)

I'm holding my comments until I see what kind of game they play tonight.
Gut says they get beat handily, heart hopes for an upset win!!

I think they can win tonight. It's the 4 day rest between games (Hamilton) that will be more a concern.

every bc game i am reminded of the infamous john huard and the 51-4 shellacking at home that BC put on the Argos to seal his fate. In comparison to those days - things are looking good in Argoland.

He played extremely well after coming off a long layoff in 2012.

This is my sense as well. I don't think we will see Gabriel again this season but would love to be wrong.

Few interesting notes: (Also note that the Argos have played 1 less game)

Lions have never swept both games of a 2 game, back-to-back road trip in Ontario
Toronto is 6-2 coming off a bye week since 2012
Ray is 14-18 in starts versus the Lions
Argos have allowed 53 sacks while Lions only 36
BC has made 31 sacks while Toronto has only made 18
BC has a big lead over most everyone in net punting and have a 6 yard per advantage over Toronto thus far
BC has a BIG advantage in BIG plays made. 31 to 15 but have also yielded more 35 to 26.
TOR has been very good in The RedZone with a 72% average to BC's 53%. They're close in limiting their opponents RZ TD ratio at 54% & 56% respectively.

Otherwise, they are actually quite evenly matched as far as other major stats. Turnover ratio is 0 for TOR & -2 for BC. Penalties per game are close.

Looking forward to a good game and hopefully a nice crowd down at BMO. Best wishes everyone!

I thought the Argo bounce was back on Foley's TD, but should have known that a penalty would nullify it.

At the half, the defence looks a lot better. The offence has improved, but that is in part because the comparison involves a very low bar. Although Ray has his typical high completion rate, it's still an offence that still running in starts and fits.

Agree jerrym, not spectacular (except the first drive), but efficient. D is playing pretty well, getting pressure on Jennings and disrupting drives. Sure hope we have the wind in the 4th!
