Sun Sept. 4 - Winnipeg Blue Bombers @ Saskatchewan Roughriders

Surprisingly, I think this might turn out to be a good game.

I actually picked the Riders to win this game in CFL Pick'Em.
I was impressed with how they played last week against Edmonton, and I figure that the Bombers are due for a drop off after a good run the last several games.

Love to see that on ego-Jones; still would get a free pass from all the Jonestown hero worshippers.

When Barker and Milanovich get fired, I say we offer Jones some stake in ownership and let him come here as part owner, President of football operations, GM, HC and DC.

Yeah, not sure how this is funny at all. You want Jones here with even more control ?

Unless fired, the only way to for him to make a lateral move is to offer some sort of job promotion. Chris Jones is a very entertaining personality who is doing everything he possibly can to win a game. Won a GC after turning around the Esks, I think he'd be a perfect fit in Toronto.

Jones has been an absolute disaster as the Riders GM so far. Not to mention, Steve McAdoo's offense is the exact same as Milanovich's. Yup, just the ticket to bring "entertaining" football to Toronto.

It's worth a shot. I liked what I saw in Jones back when I was in Calgary and followed the Stamps more closely, just think he's got a bit of bad publicity lately. You can't throw out his entire career accomplishments just because of one bad season.

Personally I don't think this is pass inference - looks like hand fighting, and Dressler diving because he didn't have the inside track.

I don't think that it was interference but Chris Jones wasted two challenges earlier in the second half so he didn't have one left to challenge this play.
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

That was the worst call of the year considering it basically decided a game. Horrible officiating.

It absolutely was not PI. The DB (Cox) had inside position from the beginning which is why Dressler couldn't get to the ball. If anything, Dressler trying to get there is what created the contact.

So much for my hope for a CFL team to come-up with a rock solid, maybe close to dominant defence - like i thought the Bombers D maybe had a shot at.

Giving up close to 400 yards passing to a Rider offence with basically a 2nd/3rd string O-line, and a very inexperienced receiving corps. They do have plenty of talent on that D IMO; Richie Hall figuring out a way to consistently shut-down standard CFL offence is another matter = no clue there.

Yup. Wouldn't call myself a hero worshipper but l can't think of anybody better than to turn this team around.
