What a compelling piece about former Shreveport Pirates kicker Bjorn Nittmo in the Buffalo News: http://projects.buffalonews.com/long...tmo/index.html

Nittmo also had a brief stint with the old Ottawa Renegades in 2005 which marked the end of his career. His most famous kick, arguably, as a pro came during the Argos' final home game of 1994 when he kicked a 56 yard game-winning FG on the final play. While many today seem to have forgotten how Nittmo became famous due to David Letterman, he was a bit of a household name when he arrived in the CFL because of Letterman's poking fun at his name.

One of the takeaways from this article is that punters and kickers too can and do sustain concussions playing football.
