also because i love how much this annoys our hamilton friends - Lefevour outplayed Collaros yesterday, no question. Zach did not look good! could have been picked off at least once more, missed a WIDE open receiver for a sure TD in the the first quarter and overthrew another late in the third i think as well. had a few drops on him (owens at a crucial moment in the 4th). Whittaker also was massive today.
It is amazing what pressure can do to a QB. The Argos did not have any sacks yesterday but they had great pressure on Collaros throughout the game. I am guessing that Zach is feeling the punishment today which is especially bad for him as the Ticats have to play again on Friday.

agreed - think the defensive line played extremely well today and the blitzes with the linebackers were also very effective. Isaac looked good out there, think Lemon is playing his @ss off (what a fleecing that trade was) and Hickman too with the blocked punt. Collaros got roughed up good today and in fairness to him, got let down by his receivers a few times but also threw some widly inaccurate balls. all in all a very strong defensive effort today.

Yes, in order for pressure defence to work consistently the back end has to be a key part of the strategy and we havent been able to dress the same back end consistently because of injuries so we have seen too many passes go overbour head. Yesterday worked well because we had good coverage downfield. We were only burned once. Now losing Heath means more time to get everyone on the same page. But Berry coming back shouldnt be a huge adjustment.

I think Lemon was credited with a sack.

Yes, on the play where Waud recovered the ball. IMO, it should have been an INT and not a sack/forced fumble.
It's us vs the rest of the country

Great D Line play is one of the more thrilling aspects of football, IMO.

I can't recall having such a great time at an Argo game as I did yesterday. Love the atmosphere at BMO. If Stubler can keep the D playing with this intensity, 1st place in the East is a reality. Winnipeg is going to get slapped around Saturday.
