Just when I thought he was someone we could count on in the backfield.

For Drew Willy! Also gave up 1st pick in 2017 and 3rd in 2018. The worst possible trade. Plus, he was a huge salary.

Drew Willy. Not a fan in the slightest. Barker got fleeced.

Moronic. Absolutely moronic.
What the actual hell? This is just a moronic trade. Willy is useless. TJ looked awesome today. Barker what were you thinking???
TJ with some monster tackles and two interceptions, had the best game of his career. I don't think they needed to add the pick after this game.
I know some are going to say that we needed a QB, but at that price? My Vikings got fleeced less in trading for Sam Bradford

I'm not sure if LeFevour could ever replicate his performance but I doubt Willy will come close to lighting it up here. And I'm usually the positive one at first!

As a corollary, Barker has immediately doused the campfire of a most timely (i.e., essential) LeFevour-led win.
This is a joke, right?
I don't see a link to a story, and Heath had two interceptions today and could have had two more.
Edit: just saw the story on the Argonauts website. I'm numb with disbelief. Bad enough to lose Heath. Throw in a 1st and 3rd round pick? Incredible!!
just as i thought driving home from the game that there was some hope, barker sucked that out quickly...i couldnt believe hearing it on tsn1050 on the drive home from a win...where the traded player was the best defender on the field!
We were listening to them break the trade on 1050 on the way home after the game (and then 1150 after 1050 went off the air) and they didn't know who we got back other than a QB. First they thought that it was Durant, then they found out it wasn't him and they were talking about Lulay, Willy and Glen. I was hoping that it was Lulay.
I totally don't understand why we had to throw in 2 draft picks too but when you look at what we got for Gale I guess that quarterbacks don't come cheap.
There are already two veteran QBs on the roster. There are 3 newbies in development.
A good scenario to develop your own damn QB (Barker) and keep him this time (Milanovich).
Draft picks, big dollars, and disruption for another team's unwanted, underwhelming spare part.
I hope someone took a video of Milanovich giving a game ball to Heath, followed by Barker telling him he had been traded.
I'd pay to see that video.
Why make this trade when Ray could come back in three weeks?
