Argo fans have an amazing capacity to see dragons around every corner. Why don't we see how things play out for the next 2 1/2 months before worrying that we got hosed on the deal?

Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
Nope - not me anyways Ravi; I was around as a big Argo fan during that long drought till the GC win in 83.
I expect the Argos to be able to compete every season now in the modern CFL - with free agency and an $m$ and teams constantly having to replace departed players or make dumb or cheapskate cuts due to the SMS.
There are no CFL powerhouse teams now - that are good bets to dominate and have a nice path to the GC a lot of seasons = every CFL team has a chance to compete. Anybody could win an average to ultra mediocre East this season.
I don\t expect the worst for the Argos - I do expect them to be competitive and able to play smart or exciting football; and sorry, Barker & Millanovich have failed miserably more often than not in the past few seasons there; still time to right the ship this season? - we shall see.

So far this year, Heath has more "receiving" yards than Ernest Jackson despite playing one fewer game.
I think it's pretty clear who won this trade.
So glad Barker and (especially) Milanovich are gone.
Yes, you cannot be making trades like that one. That was their last, final mistake and most of us called it right from the drop of the hat. Even if Willy had rebounded and became a .500 QB for this team, I still wouldn't agree in making that type of a deal. Too risky, not necessary, and it broke the teams spirit. Clearly a bad move.
OK, all kidding aside, it's obvious that the Argos lost this trade. But the way this league works, with all the comings and goings, it's something that in the end might not matter. I think the Argos D has looked pretty damn good at this point, so I fail to see the impact that losing Heath really has. As for the draft picks, let's wait and see if the Argos are in worse shape as far as non import go before we call the trade a disaster. Bad trade, yes. Negative impact as a result? I really doubt it.
It's us vs the rest of the country
This one’s water under the bridge guys. I’d rather look at the 2 recent thefts that the Argos have done:
- Shawn Lemon for Mitchell gale, matt sewell and a conditional pick
- S.J. Green for a 6th rounder
My friends, these are fleecings. Basically very little for two of our better players.
