    http://globalnews.ca/news/2994020/ro...e-with-ticats/

Nice move by the Ticats acquiring Canadian DE Capicciotti, International O-Lineman Xavier Fulton in exchange for Canadian DT Lyndon Gaydosh, International reciever Tommy Streeter and draft picks.

Hamilton can afford both Chick and Capicciotti but the Riders sure couldn't? What a mistake it was for Jones to let Chick go.

    Very interesting trade.

Ticats get a couple of vets who have been CFL starters - wonder if either ends up playing much for Kenty, but maybe provide good depth ? Capacciotti is a very good DE IMO, but didn't fit in with ego's D this year after being such a supposed key "ratio buster" FA signing; maybe he gets some playing time on the Ticats D to help spell the good DE pair (Chick & Tracey) they already have ?

Gaydosh was such a top DT prospect but hasn\t panned out for much CFL playing time - for whatever reasons, but he has missed a lot of time with injury. ego-Jones has had issues with finding his 7 only need apply NI starters, and seems he has DT pencilled-in as one of them (picked up Greg Alexandre - one of the many added to the roster NIs for the Riders this year) - and maybe Gaydosh becomes a solid starting DT for them; the Riders need as many draft picks as they can get IMO; not sure how they need any more import receivers with the good new talent they have there.

    Is there a CFL trade dead-line ?

Apparently - the Riders have acquired DB Andrew Lue from the Als for a draft pick.

Lue played a bit of STs for the Als and had some injury issues i think; but he got ZERO shot to play in an Als D-backfield that has had numerous issues or glaring deficiencies the past couple of seasons; similar to another Als high draft pick D-backfielder Chris Ackie - former CIS all-star D-half with ZERO playing time chance on D there. Lue is a natural corner/ CIS all-star there; good size = maybe he gets a shot to play safety for ego-Jones as that is one of his 7 NIs only need apply positions.
