The problem here in Toronto and to include the Rogers and tag along media heck even the TSN ones, very few if any CFL die hards are on air personalities that will challenge the wannabe side.

If they've never played football, plus they make clueless, pompous, clown like comments about football, then they should be laughed off such a discussion board. But hey - it'a free country and we're all free to run our yaps here.

OTOH - little dweebs in the media who repeatedly demonstrate they obviously know zip about a sport they never played, often get rewarded with more ink or air-time and continue to make coin doing so. Their corporate employers are of course free to keep trotting out the garbage and laughable nonsense spewed and paying for such clowns.

Nobody said that. For me personally i was always a Hockey guy growing up . My Football knowledge is decent on the street but pales when compared to the fine folks on this forum and i admit it. Never felt like a comment was belittled on here when i would leave a comment about the x's and o's of the game.

Hockey is my game, CFL is my league and the passion for the latter takes precedent.

Aww, what's the matter - your little "journalist" pals are all insulted when somebody on an ultra limited view football forum calls them dweebs? But a clique of wannabe clown media dorks who never played football in their lives get to make snide, ignorant and clueless put-down comments about the CFL and Canadian football in major newspapers, radio & TV going on decades now ? That's just so awful and unfair that somebody dares stand-up to or refute the poor little babies - they're so used to getting away with it without any of their "peers" daring to say a word.

Good thing OV is around to stand up for all that's right and just against the media cabal. If only he would answer direct questions from time to time. Oh well, can't expect perfection, I guess.
