    Congratulations Toronto FC

Brilliant conclusion to the 2nd leg of the MLS Conference Finals.

A second great game at BMO Field in a 72 hour period.

    Great fans, amazing match.

Actually watched the end of the game (last few minutes + extra time). Not a big fan of soccer but that was actually fun to watch. Nice to see the joint rocking and look forward to when the Argos make the place rock like that.

Congrats to TFC fans for a result worth waiting through a decade of dismal to get to.

    Wow!
Just watched the highlights on MLS.com.
Game looked incredible - the back and forth, Altidore's impressive goal off the corner kick by Giovinco, the extra time goals by TFC.

Congratulations to the club and its dedicated, long-suffering fans. (Actually, their supporters groups can continue to suffer imo, they are the ones who are loath-worthy.)

I am not a huge soccer fan, but due to the love of the game by my daughter, i have start to watch the games with her. She is huge argo fan and a huge TFC fan and we both go together to games. Deep down TFC and Argos fans face the same issues in Toronto and also no respect by most of the population in toronto as both MLS and CFL are not seen as a big North American League. I wish both fan bases would put their differences aside support each other. As a Toronto Fan, i am so happy that TFC is having such a success story this year, and i wish them the best of luck in the finals.

Your daughter is innocent and pure. She had not been infected by the bullshit stadium fiasco. As a TFC and Argos fan, I often found myself constantly pressured to "choose" a side or team for various reasons.

TFC fans were threatening to leave when the Argos came. I wonder if they left or are getting ready for the Championship game?

Wow, what happened to their neutral site championship game. Believe it or not, Toronto has hosted an MLS Championship before when it was a neutral and you didn't even know the game was here.

I hope the fans who shelled money for this, (they must have money to burn to spend on this) get reminded of the old name of Toronto's NASL team with the weather on Saturday night, and I'm not talking the Metros Croatia name. Can't stand the phony FC nickname. They've paid for some good players that should be playing overseas, especially one guy who's in on just about every goal but I'm hoping Seattle wins because of the bandwagon phenomenon that makes me detest a lot of their fans. I also tend to support sports fans who watch the game instead of badly singing in a drunken rage, but then again, they're watching live soccer. I've caught myself staring at my watch at live soccer games waiting for it to end.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great sport to play and an extremely healthy sport that supports aerobic fitness probably more than any other team sport, but sometimes too boring to watch and follow for me on a regular basis. MLS is actually a little interesting because of the porous defenses that permit a lot of goals. Isn't that funny, for years the media used to decry the CFL as a league that was only entertaining for the same reason, yet when it's a TFC game or NFL game over the last 5 yrs, it's an exciting sport with lots of scoring. Think about that hypocrisy before you call me out for not being a bandwagon jumper.

Not defending the MLS as I don't like soccer but actually prices started at $20. My coworker was able to get tickets at the $55 mark

Upper Case Gill....there must be no mention of the the last MLS Cup neutral site game that happened in Toronto 2010. It never happened....understand?

I witnessed someone in the office purchase 2 $80 tickets, 20 minutes after the tickets were released. That debunks both Ron's statement and the "fact" it sold out in 3 minutes.

TFC lost this evening, "Toronto championship drought continues, CFL doesn't count" was the first comment I read.

Fan comments after one of the game articles.
TBH I have many friends who support TFC and are supportive of the Argos but looks good on the mouthpieces that can't miss a chance to insult the CFL.

i have a buddy who likes TFC and he has always told me that if TFC made it to the final that Toronto would go crazy and the entire city would be enthralled in this. Glad all this happened so now i can say i told you so. Fringe team, Fringe league.

The winning team had three shots on net during the entire game.
    Yawn.
