Bo Levi Mitchell's performance has dropped off considerably in his last four games compared to his first four, ending with him being pulled for Maier against the Argos.
The Stampeders have a new alternate black uniform.
Only Nathan Rourke at 125.1 has a higher efficiency rating than Jake Maier's 118.8 among the top 20 passers in the CFL, raising questions about whether Bo and his big salary, who has a 87.2 efficiency rating in 2022, will be back in Calgary next year.
Former Argonaut Cam Judge has been suspended for his part in a post-game altercation with Lucky Whitehead. This could prove costly as the Lions and Stamps are in a battle for 2nd place in the west with another matchup taking place on Saturday.

Impressive win by the Stumps in BC last night - might be able to take 2nd in the West down the stretch now, and IMO probably have the best shot to prevent a Bummers 3 -peat.
Young Maier looking good at QB - poised and accurate; and they have a very good 1-2 punch at RB in Carey & Logan; and, gasp - they deployed and targeted 4 Canadian receivers last night (Sindani, Hakunavanhu, Hunchak and rookie Philpot), to the tune of 12 receptions for 180 yards.
Their D was very solid (and without their best D player this year - Cam Judge (suspended for 1 game), but Vernon Adams did not have it last night and the Lions offensive coaches are lost without Rourke in there.

Shawn Lemon reached 15th on the all-time sacks list. Frustrating that he couldn't stick with the Argonauts for whatever reason.

Big loss for the Stampeders as tackle Derek Dennis will miss the remainder of the season with a cracked fibula.

Jake Maier has been extended through 2024. Almost certain BLM will be moving on this off season. Saskatchewan is my guess, but won’t count out the possibility of Montreal going after him.

It's us vs the rest of the country
Some CFL teams might get it that Bovine is injury damaged and not near as a good a QB as in his prime; a low buck$ signing as good old "veteran" insurance might make sense, but doubtful Bo and his ego accept that? Some clueless CFL team might sign him and view him as their savior starter who will take them far - not sure who that would be, but some GOB might pull thru there. ;o)
There is growing speculation that Bo may be traded. Several teams have inquired about him.
