When the new nominees include the career leader in passing, the career leader in receiving, and the #2 all-time in tackles, as well as a damn good RB, IMO it is the greatest entering group ever.

I worry about someone like Hank Ilesic, who is, arguably, the finest punter to play the game.

Probably the punter and Marty York factor. I mean it took years for Ray Guy to get in and he is considered one of the better punters from the NFL.

Funny thing is that Hank doesn't care about it.

Bob Cameron got in years ago though.

Baffling to me that he isn't in the Hall of Fame.

No doubt about it. Hank Ilesic should be in the CFL HOF.

Bob Cameron was a fine punter but no Hank Ilesic. Ilesic had a career 44.8 punting average compared to Cameron's 42.9 career punting average, was a CFL All-Star 8 times compared to 4 times for Cameron, plus Ilesic was good enough to be used as a FG kicker for several years, which Cameron never did. Under those circumstances, and considering that their careers were over very similar time periods (Ilesic -1977-2001 and Cameron 1980-2002), I don't understand why Ilesic is not in the Hall of Fame.
