parking passes

Has anyone here heard anything or looked into parking passes this year? Beyond the offer of a 10% discount for SSH I was offered upon renewal, I haven’t heard a word on them.If no one else here has, happy to follow-up with the team to find out.The partial pack (originally Exhibition grounds pass) was ideal last night and if I go game by game, so be it.My dad and I did about 5 or 6 of the home games last year and really enjoyed it.Maybe we just bump it up and do them all this year I guess.

I asked a couple of months ago and was told that they weren't on sale yet. Also the season ticket holder discount only applies if you buy the full season parking pass.

yes you're correct re: the full season needing to be purchased to get the 10% discount, I should've mentioned that.

10% hardly seems like enough of a discount.
If you miss just one game - there goes any savings.

It's 9 games. It's not that difficult to make them all, we went to all 11 Tailgates last season. It's the weather that's the real gamble.

With all the staff, security, police, paramedics, washrooms... I don't think the Argonauts are making much if anything on the Tailgates.

I Emailed about the Tailgate Parking Passes and this is the response that I received:

June 1st is the on sale date. A email will be going out with all the details. I can tell you that we do not have the lot for two of the games.

For those dates we won’t be able to section off an appropriate space ones of those days is August 19 (CNE).

Okay I just bought my regular season Tailgate Parking Passes. 7 games for $189.

So the 2 games with No Tailgate are:

Friday June 30th

Saturday August 19th (CNE)

Thanks for the details I was wondering which games were not on the list – I’m guessing june 30 is off bc of indy race setup (or whatever it’s called)

makes sense that we do not get the cne game as one of the tailgate days. they would have to hold the section for us the entire day and Ontario place would lose put on money as they would make more money with the turnover for the cne.

Except that they did have Tailgates during both CNE games last season.

I think Animoton is opening up for Howard Jones this summer.

No. They have concerts at the Budweiser Stage, formerly the Molson Amphitheater.

I suspect June 30th is unavailable due to either the Indy (set-up, etc.) or the event that is taking place at Ontario Place July 1st - 4th. The event is one of a series that are a part of Canada 150 celebrations and is featured at Ontario Place on 3 different weekends this summer. Not sure the reasoning behind the tailgate not going on during the Ex but perhaps the CNE itself had something to do with it -- either wanted the lot for CNE parking or they realized that they were missing out on alcohol sales at the tailgate and thus did something to prevent the Argos from having the lot.
