Out of curiosity, what was the attendance for the Oshawa event? People in the Oshawa stadium watching and participating in the event?

I thought several thousand over the day, but Curtis Rush reported hundred. That was back when The Toronto Star could cover it. Curtis Rush was great.

Curtis was/is very good. Did some writing for the New York Times at last year's Grey Cup.

He also wrote an article about the 10,000 km road trip some of us took to Fort. McMurray to watch the Argos play Edmonton.

Argos fans.com you have dropped by and say hi in Fort Mac. My son and I were roasting in that +44 C temperature. Curtis Rush and I reminisced over Leo's Argos over beers at the Argos hotel that weekend. I was a LB at Dalhousie U and Curtis was WR at Western U in those days.

The Oshawa stands are suppose to hold 2000. I was looking at some pictures I took that day, and if 2000 is correct, then there had to be around a thousand there in 2015.

That's fair. There was also traffics in and out all day. Pinball didn't arrive until after the players had left, if I recall correctly. It doesn't really matter. I think much of the attendance was local, as some fans from the western and north didn't find Oshawa too convenient. I am all for rotating it through minor league team's locations.

Dalhousie U went undefeated for about 3 decades after the 1976 season.

I think that is awesome what you did as a voluntèer organizing the event. You put on an equivalent event to what the actual organization were paid to put on this year. They should pick your brain about what you did. Congrats. If all of us fans put that kind of effort in we would have full houses soon enough.
    GO ARGOS!!!
