Changes to the Argonauts helmets

I really, really like these and am looking forward to see what they look like with the full uniform.

It's possible they haven't switched them over yet.

The were selling the helmet decals at the locker room sale after the town hall meeting back on the 16th. I bought a sheet which had a pair on it.

Those practice uniforms and colors remind me more of St mikes, or u of t, than Argos.
I like them, and we are a long way from the hat one year we had the the huge logo on front of jersey. Just with our tradition you'd expect more uniform familiarity. When you look at something and immediately recognize it as Argos

That ship has sailed, at least for this year. The org has been explicit in stating that the boat is a secondary brand for marketing purposes. Perhaps this will change in the future but it won't this year.

I remember those posts. I like it very much and it is a modernized version, some my argue it is better than the original. My vote is for 2018.

After pre-season game 1, I think the white helmets are fine but would still prefer the double blue stripe. Not a fan of the all white socks though. At least have some stripes on them (like in 94) or go back to navy or even the lighter blue like in 91.

Still not a fan of them with the blue uniforms. Especially did not like seeing them on with Montreal having white helmets as well.

The uniforms need a little tweaking. If they wore white pants last game, the helmets would have matched the overall look better. I think it should be white helmets, white jersey, dark pants. Blue helmet, blue jersey, white pants. Any other combination looks slightly out of place to me. I like the addition of a stripe to the blue helmets, however, if it had white trim, it would look better and match the logo.

Ditto, You could tell we grew up watching football in the same generation, although the teams tended to wear white pants on both home and away uniforms. I'm immediately reminded of the Argos and Ottawa Rough Riders who wore white pants with their white jerseys in the 80s, along with many NFL teams like Buffalo, Miami, and Denver during that same era. The Argos white jersey with blue pants and striped double blue socks in 1991 and 1992 was a memorable look for me.
