I have a buddy in town from Vancouver for the weekend, and used a pair of my flex tickets for him.
It's us vs the rest of the country
I read Blue Jay beer throwing fan was conditionally acquired.
Are the Argos bringing him to Friday's game? Just kidding folks!

Whitaker has been one-gamed, meaning we will see what Wilder can do. I hope he is as good a blocker as Brandon. Jackson and Harris have been activated to replace Whitaker and Mitchell (who not surprisingly is on the six-game). I assume we will sit Wynn and either Walker or Webster.

There appear to be two changes to the lineup ---Harris for Mitchell, and surprisingly Jackson replacing Whitaker. did anyone notice if Whitaker was injured near the end of the last game?
I thought Whitaker got up limping at one point late, but he stayed in and I didn't check him out after that.

Gotta think it’s a combo of wilder and coombs getting the carries. Noticed in game 1 that the offence stayed committed to the run in spite of not a lot of success at times.
Most interesting in seeing how wilder is on the blocking end, we all know how good this element of whittaker’s game is (hence why he’s stuck around in the milonovich and now trestman offence) but he seems like half the size of wilder. Wilder could be punishing here (and running the ball too).
Don't know if it's a legitimate injury for Whitaker or not but a great audition for Wilder and hope he shines! His enthusiasm for the game and the CFL is exciting.
I would bet tons of money it's a legit injury. He is one of the leaders on the team AND he played 90% of the snaps last week in a very successful offensive effort. No chance he is benched if healthy. That's not how Trestman operates.

Oh I totally agree, Trestman doesn’t operate this way and Whittaker himself is a friggin warrior. If he wasn’t legitimately hurt, he’d be on the field suiting up and contributing no doubt about it.
That one run in the 4th quarter where he more or less steamrolled the ticat defender is what I foresee from Wilder.I think when he breaks through the first line and gets into the second line (lbs, secondary) he’s gotta be a scary dude to have to bring downwhen he’s running full steam ahead.
