Worthy looking good on his punt and kick returns.
Argos all blue helmet is the best helmet in their history! (yes, that includes all the boat logo ones!!!! ...prepares to duck from backlash).
The stands look even emptier on TV than what I thought they would be.
Great interception by Sears. Too bad the Argos didn't have a little more time left to try twice for a TD. But a FG is still nice.
Great interception by Sears.
Wilder coninues to impress with his running and YAC yards.
Ray throwing it up high off the back foot under pressure results in the highly predictable - an interception.
I'm surprised there are 11,000 here.
The Argos have got to stop saying people will eventually come. They have to go and sell the tickets. Tickets have to be sold! Glengarry, Glen Ross. Alec Baldwin's classic scene "ABCs, Always Be Selling"

Edwards scores an a three harder after a fine catch and run breaking tackles to get near the goalline. Ray's passing starting to click after a slow start.
taking my usual tv break in hopes are luck changes
well this just sucks. fumble
Ray looked off tonight. BC killed us in the running and kicking game!
BC had the game film vs, the Ticats to go by. Climie on the panel mentioned how they went to a lot of zone D and Ray had trouble with it. The O-line looking weak this game - Washington & Watman in particular. And sorry jerry, but Wilder looked pretty average aside from a couple of flashes, plus coughed up a fumble.
Back to the drawing board for Trestman and Ottawa will be a tough test next.
A disappointing loss. But some positives: D looked great until well into the 4th quarter. Edwards had 10 catches and nice YAC yards. Kicking game was solid. Negatives: Ricky did look off and O-line wasn't great (against voracious BC pass rush); some bad turnovers and penalties; and mediocre return game. And Bradbury left his signature bad call to the very end with that bogus "contacting the kicker" flag. Anyway, time to prepare for Ottawa.
I missed the third quarter, but Wilder didn't impress me all that much either. For a big guy he doesn't seem to generate much power while running. His blocking seems OK, though.
D looked gassed in the 4th, and no surprise, that's when BC took full control. Offence didn't bail out the D, with a lot of 2 and outs.
That Ray interception was uncharacteristic of him. Early in the 2nd half, down by one, deep in their own zone, that throw wasn't necessary. Wilder's fumble came in at a bad time, killed any chance of a win.
Laing took two unnecessary penalties after the TDs that gave us lousy field position.
Kudos to Mitch Marner who went from on field guest to having his own private box tonight.
Don't think anyone should be surprised, especially after a short week.

TSN panel is saying that Ray struggles against zone the past few seasons and I don't know if that was the case or that the Lions were able to get that much pressure while rushing only 3 and sometimes 4 but Ray was all too often hurried and never looked comfortable. Still could've been the Argos game if Wilder hadn't fumbled. That to me was the turning point.
Disappointing game-my impressions---for what they are worth:
Good-The D played well, with good pressure on Jennings and one Int. Didn't let BC into the end zone till the 4th quarter
-Edwards and Posey showed well, Edwards in particular with his 131 yds
-Special team coverage of kicks
Bad-O Line unprepared for the stunts from BC's D line Ray under pressure the whole night regardless of the number kept into block
-Ray's complete lack of mobility. Against a good rushing D line, his lack of mobility is a real liability
-Absolutely no running game. Wilder's 20 yds on 7 carries not going to cut it. Big and strong but not very quick
-Fuller and Green couldn't get separation. Green was better in 2nd half but Fuller will not be happy with his game.
Ugly-Attendance! If this does not improve, Copeland must soon be feeling the heat.
-After seeing what happened in the 1st half, why were no adjustments made? Screen passes/dump passes/draws etc?
Strange-2 International kick returners dressed but no back up International D lineman. By the 4th Q the D line was slowing down
-mid 4th Q, with Argos still in the game, Edwards was on the sidelines while team trying to drive the field (Wilder fumbled anyway)
Only one game but showed that here is much work to be done, if team is to make the playoffs. Trestman, basically said same thing in the post game interviews. Liked his calm professional approach.

what annoyed me is that not one ball was thrown S.J.Green's way until well into the third quarter !! This was our dynamite receiver last week and then they write him out of the play book this week. Ray never had much time to throw at all all night. They better give him more protection against Ottawa next week.
