I am going with Saskatchewan in this one. I can't see them losing the opener at their brand, new stadium.

Why not? The Argos somehow managed too (not technically brand new I know).

Let's face it, the Riders should've won that game on the road in Montreal. At home in their new stadium they should easily beat the Bombers.

Riders, if KG can avoid the inevitable bad pick at the wrong time.

A Riders victory will also be proof the Argos won the Willy trade.

    Bummers in a close one.

Ego-Jones with Kevin Glenn as his starting QB on his amazing re-build of the Riders = LOL Just wait till NFL super-hero Vince Young is called back to the rescue.

A pretty good bet. The Riders have always been tougher at home and opening the new stadium should put both the players and fans on a great high.

Another part of the Willy giveaway, Tj Heath, who tied for lead in interceptions in 2016, comes through for the Bombers, intercepting a Kevin Glenn pass to break the momentum of a 10-0 lead and a Rider crowd hyped by the official opening of their new stadium. The interception leads to a Bomber FG.

Beautiful new stadium and great sight to see it packed to the rafters - on Canada day - such a strong show of love/support for Canadian football (unlike another part of the map up here).

Natives are getting restless there though with Ego-Jones - some calling for his head already. Looks like a pretty $hitty football team (and they have some good talent - as do all CFL teams) - Kevin Glenn at QB and a weak, disorganized defence = recipe for last place.

TBH looks good on Chris Jones, he received the contract of a lifetime from the Riders, so far they are getting pretty much zero value for that contract.
Swapping out Durant for Glenn also a head scratcher.

Hey - he won a GC as HC of the Esks = he's a genius. ;o)

Feel for the many passionate Rider fans who expected way more. But too many of them bought the green kool-aid Ego was slinging. Just had to get rid of all-time Rider greats (who obviously can still play) in Dressler, Chick & Durant. They wren't his guys was wayyyy more the reason than $M$ cry-baby B$ that so many riderfans. subscribe too - and Ego was going to show he can easily bring in his guys who would be way better, just because. Kevin Glenn & a predictable offence; same old gob no clue about Canadian talent, and he's supposed to be a defensive guru but they look lost there. I'm with the Riderfans who think hiring this guy to be the Supreme Commander there was a huge mistake. Agreed - looks good on him.

I must have watched a different game because the Riders lost in OT and have looked pretty good the last two games. A big improvement from last year.
Glenn has played pretty good. If their kicker hadn't missed the OT kick this week and the last second FG last week, they could be 2 - 0 or at least 1 - 0 -1

How dare you blame their 2 losses on a Canadian. That should get you an honourary membership to what some refer to as a Good Ole Boys (GOB) club. Did you know that Mike O'Shea and Kyle Walters have now been abducted by the leaders of said club?

It is funny how much they look like the Riders of 2015, including having Kevin Glenn as their starting QB. They lost a few games early that year that could have gone their way before the wheels came off for good.

More like they probably could have been blown out both games; they were the beneficiary of terrible calls with replay review failing to confirm obvious fumbles in both games by them, so they kept possession and helped keep them in those games. Montreal is re-building as much or more as Ego-Jones is and they won with the horrible non-fumble call. And inspite of the huge crowd firing them up at their new stadium that got them some early momentum, they looked horrid on defence later in the game giving up easy TDs and 20 some points to the Bombers in a matter of several minutes. That clown Ego is living in a fantasy land if things he will have a winning team with Kevin Glenn at QB, and his supposed brainiac defence looks like a joke. Worst team in the league, by a mile, IMO after 2 weeks, but maybe the Ticats - who looked lousy against the Argos - will be the the tonic that the Riders need.

I doubt it - Ticats by 7 or more.
