    Stumps vs. Als

Calagary looking pretty ordinary vs. the Als.

Bovine often inaccurate - and the Als D is going mostly 3-4 look - wonder if other CFL Ds take notice of this?

Again - Stumps big-time over-rated IMO; but still a pretty solid and well coached team - would not be surprised to see them come back and win this one in the 2nd half.

Calgary's troubles winning in Montreal continue.

Als D was solid and Durant made a couple of big plays - to go with 2 brain-cramp/gift INTs.

Als offence is nothing special at all though; pretty good RB in Sutton but Chappy won't game plan a run game consistently; Durant and that passing offence is iffy at best; sub-par receiving corps IMO - even with the addition of Jackson; Lewis still a good possession receiver and Underwood a half decent deep threat, but BJ Cunningham is not starter material and they didn't try even one throw (that i saw) to the Canadian receiver they hide at the wide-side WR spot. Double team Jackson all game and let them try to dink & dunk with not enough run game and let Durant throw some crushing picks.

Like to see this Argo D face the Als = should hold them to very little offensive points.

Nice to see the ALS steal this one on the Stamps . At least one east team won this weekend.

It would be nice to see how our dreaded D does against the ALS offense .... On the other hand ..... How many points will our offense get on Thorpes D..... Only time will tell.

Since we're talking this week's games, great job by Lulay coming in for an injured Jennings. Even with Hamilton's issues on D, that was impressive.

And gotta give huge credit to the Lions for winning three straight on the road against East teams. Buono might deserve coach of the year just for that.
