Ricky Ray is the QB under centre at walkthrough today.
The 4-6 weeks was never actually confirmed by the team.

I thought AV stated that the field there was not really useable? Good news about Ray though.
It's us vs the rest of the country
Great news about Ray; hopefully he'll be able to go this week.
I'm not sure how much we can do to improve the OL, but unless Posey will be back soon I think it would help if we brought in a speedy guy to help our receivers get open. John Chiles is still out there, and he (kinda) knows our offense...
Over the last couple of days we have gone from out for precautionary purposes to out for 4-6 weeks to day to day. Has the Ex opened already because I sure feel like I'm on a roller coaster.
I would like to apologize to the Argos, their fans and and Ricky Ray for this error.

Good for him! We all crave information, but "late-breaking" stuff won't always be right.
Accountability matters.
Ditto. I think I'd go with the league leader in passing yards if he's healthy.
Naylor apologizing for the misinformation shows he is a stand up guy. Appreciate him even more.
Naylor actually answers fans directly, I like that. During the time Michael Bishop was in CFL landing with different teams, he was always on top of everything and I was in regular contact with him on email. He answered each and every email that I sent him, he shared my interest in Michael Bishop, he was a fan of Bish
I only want Ray to start if his shoulder is 100%. Any soreness, any indication that there is a slight injury and I would sit him the next game. You know that with all the various reports out there in the media and seeing Ray go out the last game, teams are going to be 'gunning' for him. Even if the hits are clean, there is still a football mentality, hit the weakest spot. The last thing that the Argos need to do is expose a slightly injured Ray to additional hits that lead to a major season ending injury. Slight injuries turn into major ones in the blink of an eye. Unless he is 100%, I say rest him this game (allow him time to heal to 100%), give Fajardo the start and then go back to Ray when he is 100% and can take the hits again.
Practice is closed to the public (meaning fans and media). Is Ray's health worse than it is and the is team just playing mind games with the Alouettes, so their defence doesn't know who is starting?
Why do I get the feeling that Ray is injured, but wants to play through it like in 2014 ?
