Improving???? He has under 70 yard and 8 passes completed in an entire half AND a brutal fumble. Not sure where the improvement is.

I don't see that TBH, but I'll agree Fajardo should go in.

Put Fajardo in the second half, PLEASE. That fumble near the goal line following such a poor performance means it can hardly get worse. Defence doing reasonably well but it's hard to come back when you have no offence.

I don't think we are watching the same game.

If Trestman doesn't start Fajardo in the 2nd half, we could see a runaway win for Montreal. Matthews is showing why Ti-Cats got rid of him. Perhaps we should all have listened to Shirley.

Whoa - its not all on Matthews - i think he has looked fairly poised in the pocket and shown a strong arm at times; but put any young QB with a predictable offence, a weak O-line, not much run game attack and not a real deep receiving corps = asking for trouble.

Still though - time to give Fajardo a shot in the 2nd half IMO - at least his scrambling ability could give the Als D some trouble.

Pretty fair assessment OV, with the Argo O-Line Fajardo's mobility would give Montreal something to think about.

Fajardo should start the next half and while we are at it, if there is no improvement lets go with Prokop in the 4th.
Just like preseason it's time to audition a starter for next week.

In football it all starts with the QB. As has been observed, here's not looking downfield and more concerned about the pass rush. And I'm having trouble seeing how he has a strong arm when he bounced that one out pass to Green 5 yards in front of him. For me it's a poor coaching decision to go with a QB you don't deem valuable enough to even dress in previous games but now have him start.

Glad to see Fajardo getting a chance and immediately having a 30 yard gain by Whitaker.

Fajardo accomplished more in his drive leading to a FG than Mathews did in an entire first half.

    1 FG = 1 FG, I think.

The FG in the first half only came about because the Argos got in close enough to kick one because the Als took a too many men on the field penalty on an Argo punt. Fajardo didn't need any penalty assistance from the Als to get a FG.

Suitor just eluded to the fact Mathews and the Argos managed 6 first downs in the first half, Fajardo led the Argos to 7 first downs in Q3.

How many times does a receiver appeal to an official for a PI call and get flagged.....almost never.
Another curious call late in the game.

He also got the Argos to first and goal in the fourth after a seven minute drive, something Mathews couldn't accomplish.

Edwards was right to complain. There was contact on him 5 yards deep in the end zone .
