Another superlative highlight catch by Green for a TD!
Another superlative highlight catch by Green for a TD!
Great to see it turn into a route with Tuggle's TD on a fumble recovery after failing to score even one last week against the Als.
Declan Cross gets the TD he deserved earlier on effort!
Cross gets his TD. Wonderful!
I don't have the aversion to Rod Black that many do, but someone needs to teach him what "stuffed" means, in football terms.
We haven't won this game yet, but Fajardo will probably go in pretty soon. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong and make some nice throws.
Fingers crossed.
Coombs arm going in a sling could be indication of a major loss long-term for the Argos.
I think trading for SJ Green was a good idea.
At 35-0 Edwards makes it an official rout.
This Ray guy is pretty good.
:-)
This is my one quarrel with Trestman. Early in his career with the Als, he pulled Calvillo late in the game and had to put him back in to protect a lead that was rapidly shrinking and in one case cost him a game. After that, he rarely pulled Calvillo and when he did, it was only a couple of minutes to go and an enormous lead. Not unsurprisingly, he developed no backups worth remembering.
Today, he has the opportunity to give Fajardo some experience at almost no risk. If he doesn't take it, we await Ray's next injury before seeing Fajardo get any serious playing time. Of course, we all know Ray never gets hurt!
Yeah, Argo. I'm not happy with the decision to put Ray in for our second possession.
Another Rod Black classic: "Jeff Fuller rarely drops the ball".
With 5 catches for 45 yards in brief playing time, Jimmy Ralph is putting on a demonstration of why he be getting more game action, especially with Coombs likely out with a serious shoulder injury.
In meaningless game time, SJ gets what look like a concussion with less than three minutes to go and Cross is hobbling after a catch even though he's already been hurt twice. So far Ray has not been damaged but Trestman is taking unnecessary risks.
