I am disappointed and wrote to Copeland. I was counting on doubling up the score at half time for a 70-0 win. What the heck in the world happened in the second half. Damn I want my money back
Great game. I love a good blow out. It allows my stomach to be at ease. Great meeting 'gillthethrill' at the game. Cool to put a face with the name on this board. Looking forward to the next home game and debating a trip down the QEW on Labour Day....
CFL alive and well all others can go to Hell!
I think the Argos did a great job on changing the look of the defence yesterday. As I said before the game, Matt Black is not a safety. Great move starting him at corner and moving Vaughan to safety. Equally good was moving Ball to SAM and putting Plummer in at WILL. Tough loss losing AK on the corner. Despite the former SnowRogues thoughts, he has been very good on the boundary this year. He mag be tough to replace. I don't see another big boundary type corner on the roster. Should consider going after Bruce Johnson recently released by the Bombers.

Both Ottawa and Hamilton have recently released defensive backs that may warrant a look. Totally agree about signing Bruce Johnson. Perhaps versatile Johnny Sears returns from injury or maybe even Robert Woodson gets a shot, former Canada West star. But I doubt he will even get any decent reps in practice this week.
I was most impressed with our offensive scheme, seemed Ricky had time to go through his reads (and he did), SJ Green is the best receiver we’ve had since I’ve been a season ticket holder and they were ruthlessly efficient at redzone conversions when it mattered in the first half.
As much fun as I’ve had at a home game!
S.J Green is (knock on wood) on pace for the best season by an Argo receiver since Derrell Mitchell in the late 1990's.

SJ Green is worth the price of admission. Forget even that we basically took a flyer on him with that trade. That trade paid off week 1, its all house money for the rest of the season.I’m very impressed at his ability to create separation and go get balls thrown to him consistently.

Sounds like it would make sense. I agree the bigger body would be helpful in the front 7. Only thing is; I believe Joshua Mitchell, whom was their first choice to play FS, may also be coming off the list. Coach stated that he is expecting an influx of bodies to come available to him for the Calgary game. I don't attend practices, but would have to assume they would be Laing, Butler, Josh Mitchell, and Posey.
Posey's return would add another import for the 'O" which may cost Wilder a spot.
I believe that Mitchell tweeted last week that he underwent surgery so he will not be returning anytime soon. Let me see if I can dig it up.

Saw a tweet from Matthew Scianitti today that says that Butler is working out today, and that he, Laing and AK are all day to day. Good to see. I feared AK was done for the year.

Interesting that Black is now an invaluable player who can play starting safety or corner, yet was cut just a week or two ago.
