    Montreal cleans house

They can't keep doing this every year and hope to succeed can they? I know that a team in the CFL is going to get a very good DC in Noel Thorpe.

It'll be a gong show with Kavis on the sidelines.

Jim Popp took a lot of heat for firing coaches and taking over. This move tells me it wasn't his own doing.

Noel Thorpe deserves better. But why wait until 4 days prior to their next game?

In fairness, his curious move to play total prevent with 1:40 to go in Winnipeg really started this downward spiral.

Chaps and Thorpe are damn good football minds IMO. Handing Kavis the GM chair with no experience is all on Andrew Wetenhall.

Gong show / clown ownership continued - with clueless morons in charge of some football teams.

Sad to see in the CFL - and particularly the weak East. Hamilton and their laughable moves and now Montreal with a dork like Mavis Reed as the Big Kahuna.

Way to go Caretaker Bob-O, and the Wet&andallls. The CFL needs these jack-holes like a hole in the head.

I was never sold on Chappy myself. He's not Penske material in my books. Thorpe, though, will have no problem finding work. Perhaps Hamilton?

As HC, Kavis Reed took Edmonton from 11-7 to 7-11 to 4-14 in three years. Now he's done the same thing much faster as GM in Montreal.

I get the impression that Thorpe isn't the easiest person to work with. Having said that, I am sure he will find work again next year or the year after, depending on what is left on his Montreal contract.

Chapdelaine isn't Head Coaching matierial, but IMO his offense has been pretty good over the years.

I would argue that Eric Tillman was more responsible for that than Kavis Reed.
