I think this was our payback for the Labour Day game where everything went against us in the final 5 mins. I was also shocked for us to come back and win that game.

Just when you thought Ray was done, BOOM!
What chance they had this now officially puts the fork into the Cats.
I am in shock....total shock. I was just resigned to the fact that the Argos don't win at TH Field. To convert on 3rd and 17...Posey with that grab...the ability to get not 1, but 2 2point conversions.....Masoli finally showed what he really is late in the game....I think this heart breaking loss may finally end all the fawning that the Cats are contenders.
All revved up and won't sleep well tonight.
blood pressure coming down . a bit ugly but i will take it. Man hamilton plays us hard
I must admit, I do take pleasure reading that Hamilton fans are livid about the officiating. How soon they forget about Labour Day!!!!
Hamilton kind of out played the Argos for sure. Ricky found a way even though he was hurried and hit all night. If Van Zeyl is out for 6 games I don't know about Washington replacing him. Popp should have grabbed one of the Import Tackles that were floating around the League at cut down to back up the O Line IMO.
There just doesn't seem to be a lot of the NFL cuts coming up here yet. The NFL seems to be keeping more hanging around down there. I have noticed more players that were CFL cuts being recycled around the League more than ever this year.
We are certainly not a dominant team, but I think this is starting to look like a team that *could* win the Grey Cup.
Two of our remaining four games are against teams that appear to be imploding, and even if we lose the other two we'll take first in the East. I like our chances against either Ottawa, Edmonton, or BC in the Final at BMO.
We'd be the underdog in the GC game, but a performance like tonight shows that we've got some talented guys who don't let up under pressure or adversity. It could happen.
Wins like Saturday night's are the kind of wins that championship-calibre teams are able to dig down deep and get. This may have been the most significant regular season victory for the Argos since the 2012 Labour Day game which happened to be the last time they won in Hamilton.
The Argos' magic number is 2 for first place and 1 for a playoff spot. If the Argos defeat Saskatchewan next Saturday and Ottawa loses in B.C., the Argos can start selling tickets for the East Final at a rocking BMO Field on November 19th. Who on here thought that was a possibility last January?
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
Milt Stegall was discussing on the panel that Gable ran for 148 yards in the first 3 quarters and just 9 thereafter. Given that the Tiger-Cats went up 14 early in the 4th quarter you'd think they'd go him more. The Argos front 4 just got beat in the trenches on run defence. They did sack Masoli 4 times, but Masoli showed a frustrating ability to elude the pressure and find the open man. Not one of the better games from the secondary, and it was really just Saunders who the Argos had trouble with.
Still a great comeback though! Credit to Posey for stepping up huge in the 4th quarter. He was a Ticat killer this year.

Precisely, Ravi. Clutch wins like this are often what separate pretenders from contenders. It's now clear -- we are a contender to win the Grey Cup this year. If we clinch first place next week, or the week after, that will give MT plenty of time to rest guys and develop a strategy for the Eastern Final.

I saw your posts there. Don't try to be logical with them. It just proves that fans who think the real season starts on Labour Day usually see a team like Hamilton out of the post season.
The ball Lawrence tipped out of bounds went off Cross's hip, then out. That poor PI call against Green had little bearing. Fact: Hamilton is a 3-10 team for other reasons. I love it.
True, I love the "pro Toronto" angle being played by Ticat fans many of whom are clueless TBH.
Bad officiating hurts all teams at various times, Hamilton fans had no issue with the Labour Day screwjob put on the Argos but conveniently forget that.
As I've said I have ZERO sympathy for that franchise and their fan base who show very little grace in victory or defeat.
Wonderful night of football!!!
